Our client is a well-established multi-disciplined Engineering and Project Management firm with the Local Government, Due to high demands and winning several further contracts, they now have an opportunity for Design Engineer with 3 years of experience to join their established and successful team. As the Technical Design Engineer, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to manage and deliver upon multiple projects, working autonomously and within a team environment to achieve outcomes, you will oversee and manage the civil designers. It is essential that you have a Design Engineer Strategic planning proficiency with the ability to prepare future projects to ensure shelf ready product, you will lead the co-ordination of transport initiatives that will be developed into design projects. This position requires an understanding of Development Approvals and Compliances, development practices including WAPC/IPWEA subdivisional guidelines and High level of budgetary constraints of the local Government’s Long term financial sustainability. This position requires. Engineering design and Construction Knowledge Understanding of Development Approvals and Compliances Understanding of development practices and WAPC/IPWEA subdivisional guidelines. Roads and drainage design and drafting skills is essential Civil 3D and/or 12D experience is essential. Advanced Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent Knowledge and interpretation of relevant legislation, standards, and codes Desirable: Civil Engineering degree (or studying towards a degree qualification) Previous experience in Design Engineering is Essential to be shortlisted.
