The Senior Warehouse Storeperson role reports directly to the Operations Supervisor working closely with our Warehouse teams to deliver a high level of service to our internal customers. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your warehouse and leadership skills and knowledge to the test A few of your responsibilities: Check and approve invoices through Converga and understand all functions of the Check SCM system for ordering Respond to emails, follow up on problems such as missing stock and delivery errors Participate in all pre/post shift briefings Complete daily cycle counts and administrative requirements for delivery of all goods, check specifications, quality and weight of all items delivered Promote a positive working relationship between the Warehouse and Loading Dock and other departments within the company What we will be looking for? Motivated team player with a passion to train others Counterbalance and Forklift license essential, previous experience with an electric ride on and manual pallet jack Strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures with competent with Microsoft Office, Oracle, Check SCM and Converga HACCP trained and complete HACCP inspections and paperwork Flexible to work across all areas of warehouses and loading docks, as well as flexibility to work across weekends/public holidays About you: You are hands-on in your operational approach and passionate about providing a great experience for internal and external suppliers. You will have willingness to adapt to changing priorities and a great eye for attention to detail. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of the Warehouse team at The Star Sydney.
