Legal Assistant, CRT — Sydney, Sydney Region

The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our leading and award-winning Competition, Regulation & Trade (CRT) practice group to be based in Sydney on a full-time basis working 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. As Legal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role supporting Partners and team of senior lawyers with all administrative needs. Your day will involve: As a trusted member of the team, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including: Managing billing processes for your direct team including clients with specific and more complex billing and administration requirements Assisting with meeting and event preparation Managing Partners' internal and external appointments with appropriate meeting lead times including travel and diary management Assisting with the team's business development needs Coordinating and managing a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables. Skills & experience: The successful candidate will have a passion for working collaboratively within a team, a proactive approach to delivering your work and strong attention to detail. You will also have: A minimum of 3 years' Legal Assistant experience Prior experience supporting 1 or more Partners in a busy practice group Dictation experience is essential Ability to anticipate Partner requirements to reduce administrative time Previous matter management experience Ability to work off minimal instruction Strong time management and organisational skills Inbox and diary management experience Previous billing experience is essential Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite Good written and verbal communication skills A demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
