The Quest Giver: A friendly male client in his 20s, living with an Intellectual Disability and Autism. He is looking for a Support Worker who’s more like a co-op teammate than a carer. The Role: You’ll be supporting the client to: Play card games (think Pokémon TCG, Magic, etc.) Join in on online RPGs & tabletop D&D adventures Talk all things gaming & anime Just chill and vibe in a space that feels safe, fun, and inclusive Your Stats: You’re into gaming (tabletop or digital — bonus if both) You can meet people where they’re at and communicate with clarity and patience You’re fluent in “gamer speak” and can engage authentically You’ve got a genuine interest in anime and geek culture Experience with Autism or Intellectual Disability is a plus — but what matters most is your ability to connect Shifts: Fridays: 4:30pm – 6:30pm Saturdays: 6:30pm – 10:00pm (Regular ongoing support — ideal for someone looking for consistent, meaningful work) What You’ll Gain: Real connection with someone who shares your interests Flexible, relaxed work with no high-pressure care duties An awesome excuse to talk anime, roll dice, and sling cards for work Required Credentials Current First Aid and CPR certification or a booking confirmation to complete Valid driver’s licence and vehicle with comprehensive insurance Working With Children - Employee NDIS Worker Screening Check - Employee Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety, and You module Pay Rates (SCHADS Award) Casual 3.1 Home Care Employee- includes 25% loading: Day: $33.96/hour Afternoon: $37.36/hour Active night: $38.04/hour Saturday: $47.55/hour Sunday: $61.13/hour Public holiday: $74.72/hour Why Work with Us?
