Warehouse Supervisor — Manoora, Cairns

Warehouse Supervisor Cairns Our Client is a well-established wholesaler supplying fresh produce to hospitality businesses in the Cairns region. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to join their Cairns warehouse team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong leadership qualities, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in being part of a cohesive team. The role involves receiving and dispatching stock, checking off orders during the busy early morning period (5am starts, Monday to Friday), and assisting with truck loading, scheduling, and stock fulfilment. You'll be responsible for moving and organising stock, keeping the warehouse clean and tidy, maintaining vehicle and fleet programs, and contributing to general warehouse operations. A sound understanding of food safety and quality systems is important, along with the ability to follow procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Skills & Attributes: Solid fruit and vegetable product knowledge Calm and steady under pressure Strong attention to detail Able to problem solve and adapt to changing priorities Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Good computer skills, experience with Fresh software desirable Positive team player with a strong work ethic Demonstrated leadership and reliability Licences: Current Forklift Licence-Essential Truck Licence-Desirable Additional Information: Mainly chiller work with occasional freezer tasks Early starts mean early finishes, enjoy your afternoons Jacket, gloves, and shirts provided Must supply own boots, long pants, and any additional jumpers Some weekend work and overtime may be required, flexibility is essential What’s in it for you?
