IT Support Engineer — The Rocks, Sydney

We’re looking for people who are passionate about solving some of the most difficult and pressing cybersecurity issues, while having fun doing it We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who wants to be a key enabler for the entire company, who wants the simple things to be automatic and the hard things to be possible. You’ll be responsible for a combination of IT support activities, including service desk support, process optimization, system configuration, hardware and networks tasks for our Australian & USA based teams. While Kasada is a remote-first company, this role will require visits to the Sydney office. We do not require a fixed or minimum number of days per week. What you will be doing - Empower our team with reliable IT support - Serve as the go-to expert, resolving technical challenges efficiently and communicating solutions effectively. - Maintain system health by diagnosing and resolving issues, and create a valuable knowledge base for future problem-solving. - Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing clear updates on issue status and potential impacts. - Ensure seamless technology operations - Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software, maintain accurate records.Manage Jamf (Pro, Protect, Trust) - our MDM (Mobile Device Management) system. - Proactively monitor systems and support application deployments, ensuring everyone has the tools they need. - Manage vendor relationships to ensure efficient service delivery. - Provide on-site technical support, ensuring smooth technology integration for internal gatherings. - Maintain AV equipment in offices - Provide on-site support at key events in Australia such as Hackhaus - Communication - Partner with other teams to refine workflows and troubleshooting strategies. - Maintain attention to detail in communication and task management, and regularly inform the team of work progress through proactive updates. What you'll bring - A strong desire to create a delightful experience for Kasadians from setting up a device to when something goes wrong. - Experience managing and supporting Apple macOS devices, with Jamf Pro or other MDM. - Experience managing users and groups with a cloud directory/IdP (such as JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Entra ID or Okta) - Solid troubleshooting skills across macOS and with SaaS (software as a service) products, including managing vendor support - Excellent time management and prioritization skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Pragmatic and considered approach If you don’t think you're a perfect fit, you should still sign up to Hatch and create a profile, we'll match you to other roles that suit your profile.
