In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating project delivery requirements across multiple sites, ensuring that all activities align with Powerlink's policies and procedures. Your primary goal will be to facilitate safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. You will develop fit for purpose construction strategies that identify key risks and implement mitigation measures during both planning and execution phases. You will direct site construction activities to ensure compliance with the Project Management Plan and monitor the timely completion of deliverables in line with stakeholder expectations. As the Site Delivery Manager, you will manage key completion activities throughout the project lifecycle and address any issues or defects promptly to meet completion requirements. You will also oversee the delivery of materials and equipment, facilitate project releases, and review contractor works, ensuring that all documentation is accurately managed. The people you'll join: Based in Virginia, you will join our Infrastructure Delivery group within the Delivery and Technical Services division, reporting directly to the Team Leader Delivery. You will work closely with a professional, multi-functional, project delivery team. This position will require regular travel to site in regional Queensland locations. What you'll bring: To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management, or a lessor qualification with significant experience in managing high voltage transmission infrastructure projects. You have significant experience in managing and coordinating the delivery of high voltage transmission infrastructure projects. This includes both Greenfield and Brownfield environments. You will have experience actively managing work execution and assessing contractor performance to ensure tasks are completed as planned. Furthermore, you will have experience ensuring the safe and coordinated delivery of high voltage infrastructure projects by reviewing and implementing safe systems of work.
