Work with a luxury short stay portfolio on the Mornington Peninsula Monday to Friday only - no weekends or after-hours Career progression into property management About the company: Our client is a boutique real estate agency specialising in high-end short stay accommodation on the Mornington Peninsula. With a fast-paced, no-fuss approach, they deliver premium service across a beautiful property portfolio. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a tech-savvy administrator to support front-of-house operations and keep things running smoothly. About the role: This is not your average reception job – you’ll be the go-to person for everything from guest enquiries to inspecting properties. It’s a varied role that blends customer service, systems, and admin, with genuine room to grow into a property management position down the line. Key responsibilities include: Managing the reception desk and handling minimal walk-ins Responding to booking enquiries via phone (up to 30 calls/day) and email (approx. 20/day) Coordinating short stay bookings and answering guest queries Paying trades and suppliers through Xero Conducting up to 3 property inspections per week Following set processes to ensure nothing falls through the cracks About you: You’re a confident communicator who enjoys getting things done. You’re comfortable with tech and systems, can manage multiple tasks without losing focus, and thrive in a role where no two days are quite the same. You don’t need to be a property expert – but if you’ve worked in real estate, accommodation, or a similarly fast-paced admin role, you’ll hit the ground running. To be successful, you’ll need: Previous experience in a reception or admin-based role Strong communication skills – professional, clear, and direct Confidence with systems and processes (Xero experience ideal, but not essential) A valid driver’s licence and your own car To live locally or nearby to Mornington (preferred) What’s on offer: A competitive salary of $70–80k super Monday to Friday role – no weekends required Clear pathways for career progression into property management Work with a highly respected business and premium property portfolio Supportive team environment where your input is valued This position is being handled by Buckmaster Hawkey.
