This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your already outstanding design career where you will be instrumental in driving key looks and contributing to the creative direction of the category. Reporting to the Head Designer your focus is ensuring the BONDS brand is considered first, with the product ranges built around the brand aesthetic. You will be have a focus on the Sock categories for our Grocery Channel working closely with the other Bonds categories to ensure creative continuity and cohesion across the ranges. The design team are highly collaborative and design together to get the best output, with a focus on workshopping in an open forum … this has been central to the brands success. You will collaborate with designers across adjacent BONDS categories as well as with the Senior Designers, Heads of Design and Innovation team. Key responsibilities include: Creating and executing design concepts with a focus on colour and graphic direction Hands on design including fabric and yarn selection, fittings and technical drawings Collaborating and developing strong relationships with cross functional teams Project design work and collaboration Ability to conduct product and range presentations Essential for your success is: Proven track record in similar design roles – 2 years' experience at Designer level or senior Design Assistant level An innovative and creative approach to design with handwriting aligned to the Bonds brand Strong communication skills and loads of initiative, you're proactive by nature An ability to work quickly and delivering a high output - the pace across the design team is fast and you must be comfortable operating in a busy and fast-moving environment Knowledge and experience in socks or hosiery development will be highly advantageous An ability to drive design projects from concept through to execution.
