We have produced some of Australia's most loved, premium food festivals including the Night Noodle Markets, Good Food Month, The Good Food Guide Awards and are now curating and delivering events across the Nine publishing Lifestyle brands, Sunday Life, Pedestrian and others partnering with major brands.We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Partnerships Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for driving new strategic opportunities and cultivating strong partnerships to expand the Food & Lifestyle Events brand. This role involves developing and executing government revenue growth strategies, identifying key partners, and managing relationships to achieve growth objectives.You will be responsible for securing and managing a large portfolio of partnerships across Government agencies and Commercial brands at all levels, ensuring the successful integration of partnerships so they both enhance our events while also meeting partner objectives.This role will require some after hours work including occasional evenings, weekend and interstate work, when events are live. Key Responsibilities:Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager to create strategies to service new and existing clients that meet objectives.Identifying and securing government funding through grants and funding applications.Developing professional relationships with key government bodies in each market we operate.Managing a direct report who will assist in managing partnerships and executing these strategies.Ensuring new partners are onboarded effectively with clear objectives and measurements of success outlined.Working closely with the Sales, Curation, Marketing, Finance and Events producers to ensure a smooth Sales to Servicing Handover process.Liaising with a wider team to ensure sponsor requirements and objectives are known and factored into event curation, delivery and marketing plans.Leading timelines and critical paths for partners so they are able to meet deadlines and leverage the partnerships.Identifying new opportunities to leverage for partnerships.Understanding the sponsor landscape broadly and partners needs and concerns.Playing a key role in the re-signing negotiations and contract renewals of key partners.Overseeing reporting for all partners and optimising reporting practice.QualificationsWhat we would like to see: Significant experience in account management/servicing of partners.Experience in funding applications and successful funding reporting.Experience in strategy and business development across streamlining processes and building opportunities.Excellent communication, emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills.Strong ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.Ability to adapt management and account management style to various clients.Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and work with tight deadlines.Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management.Proven project management skills, from inception to execution.Ability to work autonomously and with flexibility.People management skills and a track record managing and coaching a growing team.Strong teamwork ethic and ability to work flexibly across teams.Background in a similar industry and a passion for the food, lifestyle and hospitality industry will be advantageous.Additional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:We're committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive Nine.
