As part of our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving the success of our expanding portfolio. Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of HVAC projects—from initial concept and estimation through to design, site supervision, and final delivery—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Registration or licensing may be required depending on the project's scope and location. Key Responsibilities: · Plan, design, organise and oversee the assembly, erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of HVAC plants and installations. · Prepare detailed technical specifications including material selection, equipment sizing, piping layouts, and plant/system configurations · Coordinate project labour and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment · Implement and monitor standards for installation, testing, quality assurance, and maintenance in line with engineering and safety regulations · Conduct inspections and performance evaluations of mechanical systems · Oversee maintenance of plant infrastructure and coordinate design changes, surveys, and maintenance schedules · Evaluating workforce utilization, facility layout, operational metrics, production schedules, and associated costs to identify the most efficient use of labor and equipment · Implementing work measurement programs and conducting work sample analyses to define benchmarks for efficient labor use. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institution · Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, Australian Standards, plant operating procedures, and HVAC technical documentation · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills · Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels · Proficiency in CAD and relevant engineering software · Strong time management and organisational abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines · HVAC industry experience is desirable but not essential Company Benefits At AirH2o Pty Ltd, we value our team and are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
