More About the Role at Ambulance Victoria About the role Working from Monday to Friday between 8.00am – 8.00pm on 8 hour shifts, Patient Transport Officers provide effective and efficient care and transport of non-emergency pre and post hospital patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Respond to all cases in a timely manner - Provide appropriate patient assessment, care, and transport, in accordance with applicable regulations - Complete Patient Care Records and other relevant documentation in an accurate manner - Provide effective patient handover to hospital staff/patient relatives About you To be considered for this position you will have: - Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent including (Qualified Ambulance Paramedic, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, Bachelor of Health Science, Paramedicine Degree) - Current Victorian driver license - Minimum 100 hours of on-road clinical experience completed within a two-year period - Demonstrated understanding of Scope of Practice/Clinical Practice Guidelines for the role you are applying for Working at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
