Associate/Lead Engineer - Drainage/Stormwater Management We are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with strong experience in stormwater management, drainage design, and water quality management. This role emphasizes technical excellence and offers opportunities to contribute to sustainable design and climate resilience. Key Responsibilities Work independently on drainage design for roads and streets, with minimal supervision. Lead design and technical consultation for stormwater drainage, including Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD). Manage drainage design for highway and major infrastructure projects, including client liaison, technical documentation, cost estimates, and tender submissions. Schedule work to meet deadlines, monitor budgets, and control expenditures to achieve financial targets. Represent the company at internal and external meetings and contribute to impactful events and activities. Qualifications Recognized degree in Civil Engineering. Strong knowledge of highways, urban roads, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and water quality. Experience in producing concept and detailed design drawings, reports, and specifications for highway drainage projects. Familiarity with earthworks and utilities in relation to drainage design. Membership in relevant professional institutions, with Chartered Status from Engineers Australia preferred.
