About Northern Health: Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About the Role: This role works collaboratively within the CTS administration team providing clerical support to clinicians and clinical coordinators, ensuring that data and client records are managed in an efficient, compliant and accurate manner. This is achieved through activities including the provision of client facing reception, client and transport bookings, data entry, report completion, fee collection, appointment making and clerical support to CTS staff, liaison and interaction with clients, clinicians and external service providers. The Administration Assistant works with the Clinical Coordinators and Associate Director to assist in identifying and streamlining administration processes for a busy and dynamic program. This position is an Ongoing, Part Time position, 32 hours per fortnight. This position is responsible for: Utilising relevant software programs including HMS, CPF, iPM, Microsoft Office suite (in particular, Excel) Maintaining accurate administration practices and entry of patient information into the appropriate IT Applications Working and liaising with Community program managers, clinicians and administrative staff in performing daily tasks Following established processes for the relevant area in undertaking daily work as directed by supervisor The position is based at Broadmeadows; however, staff may be required to travel and work across the various Northern Health campuses, programs, and partner organisations. To be successful in this role you will have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Courteous and friendly customer focused communication. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and prioritise workload. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team to provide accurate, timely and responsive administration support. Experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
