Only open to UQ students (enrolled for 2025 and have completed at least 1 semester at UQ). Applications close 31 March 2025 at 11.00pm AEST About This Opportunity The primary purpose of the position is to: provide students, prospective students, and other clients with administration related information. Key responsibilities will include: Provide advice via multiple communication channels in relation to admission, enrolment, payment of fees and charges, examinations and assessment, academic progression, scholarships, and graduation. You will be a part of our amazing team that is the face of UQ, dealing with Students and other clients daily. You will be viewed as the go to person for enquiries and be able to develop your communication skills and problem-solving skills. You will enhance your skills and experience whilst developing your professional identity, networks, and graduate capabilities. This opportunity gives current UQ students an opportunity, to make a difference, build real life work experience and be viewed as the expert in Student Services. Please note: Candidates must be available for a range of shifts during business hours of Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00. We are looking for candidates who can offer 8-14 hours of availability per week. Shortlisted candidates will need to be available to attend an interview between Tuesday 8 April to Friday 11 April 2025. Successful candidates will attend orientation on a rolling basis from 12 May to 27 June 2025. ​​About You Essential You must be a current student at The University of Queensland and have completed at least one semester of study (preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 1 year of their program remaining). You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to address and relate well to a broad range of students and stakeholders, on a variety of levels. You must have the ability to demonstrate flexibility, work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desirable At least one year remaining in your study program will be highly regarded.
