The key duties of the position include The Business & Technology Group (BTG) delivers the business infrastructure that supports AIHW Business in the discharge of their statistics and information responsibilities. Within the BTG, the Information Technology (IT) Operations and Platforms Unit provides the ICT infrastructure necessary to support the AIHW's evolving and expanding business requirements as well as supporting ICT security and project initiatives. The AIHW's rich mix of technologies, coupled with the institutes' dynamic and nationally significant work program, makes for a challenging and exciting work environment. The IT Operations and Platforms Unit works closely together to exploit their diverse range of talents and skill sets to find new and innovative approaches to meet these challenges. The IT Operations and Platforms Unit is looking for an APS6 M365 administrator to provide administrative support to the M365 platform, including the configuration and support of new capability and functionality within the platform, user administration, security uplift, cost and performance management. Under general direction you will: Work as part of a small team to provide a high-quality client focused ICT environment. Maintain and administer the corporate M365 and Azure cloud services Provide level 2 and 3 support to ICT systems (at the administrator level) Maintain and administer the Hybrid Active Directory environment Maintain clear and up-to-date system and software documentation, and procedures; and Assist with ICT infrastructure project including support and upgrade as required. The ideal candidate will have most or all of the following skills and knowledge: Important: Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and triaging technical issues in complex IT environments. Proven ability to manage and respond to ICT incidents/outages. Strong user support experience providing level 2 ICT support. Experience supporting Exchange on-premises/online. Demonstrated experience managing and migrating to M365 cloud services, e.g. (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure AD, Teams calling etc.) Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining Microsoft Azure workloads Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to prioritise one's workload and escalate issues when required. Desirable: Experience and knowledge of PowerShell, Active Directory and VMware will be highly regarded.
