About the Centre/Service Exceeding all areas of the National Quality Standard, Springvale Service for Children is a leading Not-For-Profit community-based organisation providing support for families through an integrated service model. The service was established in 2009 and has grown to provide a large and broad range of services to support families with young children. Having strong links with the local community, we pride ourselves in our ‘no wrong door’ policy that welcomes everyone into the service. Our range of services for young children and their families for their healthy development, learning and well-being includes: • Long Day and Sessional Early Learning Programs • Maternal and Child Health – City of Greater Dandenong • Play Groups • Toy Library • Visiting Specialists • Community programs Description The Business Support Administrator, will be an active member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes: Following the National Quality Standard (NQS), a key aspect of the National Quality Framework (NQF) as the basis of understanding of a quality service; Developing strong relationships with all members of the service; Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families and the community; Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations; Work positively with parents and/or committees Develop project plans and meet intended timelines; Plan, organise, and direct projects through to their completion; In line with Worksafe guidelines and Child Safe Standard, you must provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and free of risks to health, so far as it is reasonably practicable. There are also opportunities for on-going Professional Development throughout the year to enhance your skills and knowledge, during our regular team meetings and training from external services and consultants.
