Safety Systems Engineer — Sydney, Sydney Region

Part of a global organisation my client is a leader in automated safety solutions for customers across a range of sectors including mining, oil & gas, rail and power. Due to increasing project demand they need an additional Safety Systems Engineer to cover the East Coast providing a range of services to their key clients. This is a WFH role with significant regular travel to client sites depending on project stages and requirements. Responsibilities: Design, implementation, PLC programming, FAT & SAT testing, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of Functional Safety Systems. Liaison with clients, suppliers, partners, project teams and management. Planning, scheduling, reporting and documentation. Ensure work is completed to customer satisfaction, cost, timeframe, and quality constraints, standards and regulatory compliance. Skills and Experience: Degree qualified in electrical or automation engineering. Experience in Functional Safety automation or control systems. Knowledge of IEC61508, 61511; knowledge of Cyber Security IEC62443 highly regarded. Previous experience in a field/site engineering role. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
