The opportunity The Sales Representative (Internal) will play a key role in managing incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, preparing quotes and proposals, and generating new leads. This position works closely with the external sales team to foster customer success and support the growth of the business. Based at our new facility in Boronia, you will: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and service requests via phone and email. Prepare accurate quotes and proposals tailored to customer needs. Maintain and update the customer database, ensuring all contact details, interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions are accurately logged. Identify prospecting strategies and establish criteria for lead qualification. Develop effective sales plans and utilise business systems to manage prospects, customer sales, and financial information. Collaborate with the external sales team to achieve optimal business outcomes. In addition you will: Assist in the preparation and compilation of sales presentations. Help organise conferences and exhibitions. Contribute to specialised projects, process improvements, and initiatives related to customer engagement, technology solutions, and reporting enhancements. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science desirable or equivalent work experience. Experience: 2 years of sales experience desirable. Experience within a Life Sciences environment highly regarded. Experience with contemporary business systems including MS Office suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) highly regarded.
