Local HC & MC Drivers — East Cannington, Canning Area

Are you a skilled and experienced HC or MC Local Driver looking for a stable role with a reputable company? We’re seeking dedicated and safety-focused drivers to join the KTrans team in Welshpool. Key Responsibilities: As an MC Local Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of freight between various locations. This includes: Loading and unloading freight while ensuring weight and dimension limits are met; Securing loads in line with load restraint guidelines; Accurate record-keeping of declarations, fatigue hours, and pre-start checks; Operating within WA road laws and company policies to ensure safety and compliance; Maintaining clean and well-kept vehicles and equipment. Requirements: Heavy Combination or Multi-Combination Driver’s Licence (WA), with proven experience driving in a similar role (minimum 6 months); Full Australian Work Rights; WA Fatigue Management Certificate; Load Restraint Certificate (or willing to obtain) and strong understanding of compliance requirements; Dangerous Goods Licence and knowledge ( preferred ); HRWL (Forklift) ( preferred ); National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months from start date); Experience with MTData, or similar software, for logging trips, faults, and fuel usage; Excellent time management and knowledge of Perth Metro area and designated routes; Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and driving assessment.
