Our client is one of the leading Territory suppliers of equipment, tools and welding consumables to Industry, Engineering, Mining and remote locations across the Northern Territory. They are a dedicated team who specialise in specific fields to assist customers on a more technical level. We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver/Sales Assistant to join our clients Alice Springs operation. This positon is suited to people who have delivery driving and retail sales experience with a strong focus on customer service. Tasks and Responsibilities: Customer service and over counter sales Carrying out gas or hardgood deliveries in small LR/MR sized truck Operate forklift Process customer orders and respond to requests relating to product knowledge and price Maintain showroom Maintain stock Housekeeping Requirements and Attributes: LF licence MR licence (minimum) Customer service experience Welding/gas product knowledge (preferred) Strong communication skills - written and verbal Ability to problem solve Enthusiastic & a team player A reasonable level of fitness due to manual handling tasks This will be an ongoing position for the right candidate.
