Work with a skilled and motivated team Develop your skills and grow your career with Parks Victoria Competitive Salary About the role The Recognition and Settlement Agreements between Traditional Owners and the State of Victoria, under Victoria's Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010, recognises the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagulk People's Traditional Owner rights in approximately 10,540 square kilometres (or 1,054,000 hectares) of public land. The WJJWJ RSA Coordinator will lead the development and coordinate delivery of Parks Victoria's RSA implementation plan, which will detail the steps Parks Victoria will take to meet its responsibilities under the RSA. The position will play a key role in embedding a partnership approach to RSA implementation across Parks Victoria districts and business areas. The role will be a key point of liaison with Barengi Gadjin Land Council Traditional Owner Corporation (BGLC) to monitor and progress RSA implementation, and will provide support to assist PV's Relationship Holder and other senior leaders to address strategic matters related to the partnership. We're looking for someone with: Demonstrated experience of understanding of formal Traditional Owner recognition processes in Victoria, including provisions under Recognition and Settlement Agreement Demonstrated success in engaging with Traditional Owner groups and building partner and stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated high level judgement and experience in analytical problem solving Demonstrated experience in coordinating or managing multiple complex projects and leading delivery of outcomes against agreed action plans. Qualification and/or demonstrated experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation is desirable.
