About the role This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities through lifestyle support. As part of a supportive team, you will help deliver high-quality services and achieve meaningful outcomes for service users in a positive and proactive environment. In your role, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities, both in their homes and within the community. Duties may include personal care, meal preparation, transport, and assisting with other daily living needs. You will be supporting clients in the Waikiki and Haynes areas. We are looking to fill the following two opportunities, shift times: Monday or Tuesday from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM and every second Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM Evenings on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM Key Responsibilities Day-to-day care Assist in building daily living skills Community access & transport (e.g., swimming activities, attending appointments, social events, outings etc.) Maintain & monitor person-centred plans Accurate documentation & progress note keeping Skills & Experience Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence Certificate III in Community Welfare, Disability, or similar Current Provide First Aid Certificate At Life Without Barriers we consider gender a genuine occupational qualification for this position under Section 27 (2), (c), (e) and (g) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, and so we ask that only Female applicants apply.
