About the role This position will assist the Corrections Education portfolio to meet its objectives related to professional development of staff to better enable the provision of blended, online and digital education. You will: drive the development of digital and online learning content for all programs between Federation University Australia and Corrections Victoria; contribute to the implementation of the University’s eLearning Vision principles and priorities; contribute to the development of a set of VET standards and visual approaches for online materials and resources; coordinate blended and online learning resource development projects; contribute to and adhere to quality standards and accessibility in blended learning design including building capacity in VET teachers as part of the process of qualification/unit development. About you You will have demonstrated knowledge in the design and delivery of professional development initiatives that contribute to the enhancement of staff knowledge, skills and confidence in utilising blended and online learning opportunities. You will possess demonstrated: understanding of contemporary educational design principles and pedagogies relevant to blended, digital and online learning particularly in the VET sector; ability to work with VET teachers to promote the adoption of appropriate pedagogies for blended, digital and online learning; ability to develop VET assessment tools and understanding of the complexity of delivery methods across a broad range of industry areas; sound understanding of ASQA standards, AQF, training packages, assessment practices and HESG Compliance.
