As licensed builders, we manage the entire process — from initial concept and council approvals to full construction and final handover. At ShedEx, we don’t just build sheds — we build relationships. The Opportunity We’re on the lookout for a driven, people-focused professional to join our team as a Shed Design & Project Expert. This full-time, on-site role is based at our Victor Harbor office and is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently guide clients through complex decisions with clarity and care. You’ll manage the full customer journey — from initial enquiry and custom design to council approvals, quoting, and handover. You’ll work closely with our admin, construction, and subcontractor teams, but you’ll own the client relationship from start to finish. Full training is provided, including support to obtain a Construction Industry White Card and Forklift licence, if required. A valid SA Driver’s Licence and reliable transport to and from work are essential. There’s no expectation to use your own vehicle — a company vehicle will be available for occasional site visits. Key Responsibilities Client consultation : Guide new and returning clients from enquiry to final contract Design and quoting : Use our in-house ShedEx system to create custom shed concepts and accurate quotes (full training provided) Project coordination : Prepare and lodge council applications, manage timelines, and liaise with internal teams and subcontractors Communication : Maintain regular contact with clients and ensure they feel supported throughout the process Sales support : Follow up on leads and quotes to convert enquiries into active projects Performance tracking : Monitor and meet weekly and monthly KPIs related to sales and service Brand ambassado r: Represent ShedEx Fleurieu positively and professionally in the community What You’ll Bring Required : Valid South Australian Driver’s Licence Reliable daily transport to and from work Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities A genuine interest in helping customers bring their projects to life Preferred : Experience in sales, construction, design, or project coordination Ability to read site plans and basic construction drawings Familiarity with council planning processes and the National Construction Code Qualifications in construction, project management, or sales (valued but not essential) Don’t worry if you haven’t used drafting or quoting software before — our ShedEx system is easy to learn, and we’ll provide full training. What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months) You’re confidently managing your own shed projects You’re using the ShedEx system efficiently and accurately You’ve built strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members Council processes and timelines are being handled smoothly You’re consistently meeting your KPIs Your customers are thrilled — and referring others Work Hours & Flexibility Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm Plus 2 x Saturdays per month: 8:00am – 12:00pm Bonus : You’ll enjoy a 3-day weekend once a month in recognition of your Saturday availability. Team & Tools Team size: 17 (including employees and contractors) Office-based role with occasional local site visits Company vehicle available for work-related travel All systems and tools provided in-house — no personal devices needed
