Administration Coordinator (Environment Officer Class 5) Ongoing full-time role (35 hours per week plus Flex Time) Parramatta / Sydney Region, hybrid working from home supported Salary range $91,673 to $101,957 depending on experience super The Natural Capital Markets and Accounts team in the Strategic Policy, Science and Engagement Group is seeking an Administration Coordinator. You will be joining a high-performance team working on natural capital policy, markets, tools and accounts projects that support implementation of the NSW government’s plan for nature and the department’s aim to increase private investment in natural capital. This role provides a range of administrative services, leveraging deep business unit knowledge to support the program of work and ensure seamless operations that contributes to achieving divisional objectives. Responsibilities extend beyond Procurement and Accounts Payable to include: managing the Director’s diary and providing scheduling support coordinating with the Divisional Coordination Unit to track and monitor briefing notes and other tasks assisting with record-keeping and tracking key branch processes, including budget management, leave tracking, mandatory training, equipment renewals, and more. About You To succeed in this role, you should have experience working with a degree of autonomy, making decisions within the scope of delegated authority, and taking responsibility for delivering assigned tasks. You will also be expected to seek guidance from the Director and senior staff on work priorities, complex issues, and matters requiring higher-level authority to resolve. Key knowledge and experience Good computer skills including word processing, spread sheets and computerised accounting systems. Good knowledge and broad experience in providing administrative and secretarial support, including basic financial record keeping, and the preparation of routine correspondence, reports and submissions.
