Our Australian HR team of 7 supports the three Australian offices (Melbourne, Sydney and Perth) with a broader HR team in the region and in London. Description As key member of our friendly HR team, you will be the primary point of contact for employee queries, recruitment administration, new hire orientation as well as general HR co-ordination. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include: Recruitment assisting with graduate recruitment (branding, screening CVs, initial phone interviews etc) screening paralegal applications (including phone screening) co-ordinating interviews, particularly for graduates preparing contracts completing reference checks (when comfortable) Onboarding/Offboarding Employees managing on and off boarding processes and system set up co-ordinating inductions liaising with internal services for IT equipment/desk set up etc co-ordinating new staff photos General Administration updating the HRIS (Elmo and Success Factors) with employment changes liaising with payroll practicing certificate renewal follow up general HR admin such as probation follow up, parental leave co-ordination, leaver processes etc. contact for general employee queries (ie policy, leave etc) co-ordinating benefits (ie annual Flu shots) If you are looking for a role where every day will be different with a chance to really own the HR administration for the team, we would love to hear from you. Skills And Experiences If you have some administration experience, ideally from a professional services environment, and an interest or qualifications in HR, this role could be right for you. Previous HR administration experience highly regarded. The role also requires someone who is/has: organised and able to multitask; able to liaise and build relationships with people at all levels; able to maintain confidentiality and professional interactions as all times; excellent attention to detail; good MS Office skills (ie Word, Excel); strong written and verbal communication skills; team oriented; and practical and mature with a can-do approach. Experience with SAP Success Factors or Elmo would be an advantage but not required. What's in it for you? HFW Australia is down to earth and friendly.
