Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional, and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. The PositionThis newly created role is responsible for providing outcomes-focused expert legal advice for VHBA's construction and infrastructure projects, and related construction procurement advice. Your work will have a tangible impact on our local community. Your day-to-day work will involve advising on a variety of multi-million-dollar health infrastructure projects, from the construction of new hospitals, redevelopments of public hospitals to grass roots initiatives like early parenting centres and facilities supporting the health-led response to drug and alcohol issues. Key aspects of this role: Work within the VHBA infrastructure Legal branch to provide timely, high-quality client-focused legal advice on matters relating to project development Build trusted internal relationships within the project development and delivery teams of VHBA. Support procurement and contract documentation facilitating development and delivery of VHBA projects. What we are looking for: A skilled and motivated Senior Lawyer, seeking growth and development in a values driven legal team. An excellent understanding of: construction and contract law legal issues. construction related legislation, rules and policies.
