As a Sales Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for ensuring our brand stands out in a competitive retail environment, particularly within our David Jones concessions. Ensure each store is visually appealing and aligned with the latest trends. Execute regular store resets, promotional setups, and product displays to enhance the customer experience and drive foot traffic. Ensure product availability and an organized, clean, and accessible selling floor. Product Knowledge & Stock Management: Stay up to date with the latest fashion trends, product offerings, and seasonal collections. Manage stock levels in concession areas, ensuring product availability and efficient stock rotation. Collaborate with buying and logistics teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and proper stock handling. Sales & Reporting: Drive sales and achieve KPIs within assigned concession stores at David Jones. Regularly analyse sales data and adjust merchandising tactics to meet or exceed targets. Collaborate with the regional sales team to set monthly and seasonal sales targets. Report on sales performance, stock levels, and visual merchandising compliance. Provide insights on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends. Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with store managers, floor staff, and department managers at David Jones. Provide training and support to department store staff on brand knowledge, product features, and selling techniques to enhance customer service and drive sales. What you need: Previous experience in a concession store within fashion retail A team player that is able to also work autonomously Excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with different teams Energetic, enthusiastic and sales-focused with a strong drive for results.
