Estimator & Sales Specialist Dust & Fume Extraction Are you a driven and knowledgeable individual with a passion for clean air and a knack for closing deals? We're looking for a talented Estimator & Sales Specialist to join our growing team, focusing specifically on dust and fume extraction systems and ventilation solutions. Our Client is a leading provider of Dust & Fume extraction systems. The Job: As our Estimator & Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while accurately estimating project costs and developing compelling sales proposals. You'll be a key player in expanding our market share and building strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities: • Lead Generation & Business Development: Actively identify and qualify potential clients in industries requiring dust and fume extraction or ventilation solutions. • Client Consultation: Conduct site visits to understand client needs, assess existing systems, and recommend appropriate solutions. • Detailed Estimation: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for dust collection, fume extraction, and ventilation systems, including material, labor, and equipment. • Proposal Development: Create comprehensive and persuasive sales proposals that clearly articulate the benefits of our solutions. • Sales Presentations & Negotiation: Deliver engaging sales presentations and effectively negotiate contract terms to close deals. • Project Handover: Collaborate with project managers and the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation. • Market Research & Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in dust and fume extraction. • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in their established CRM system. What you will bring to the role: • Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating and/or sales, with a strong emphasis on HVCAC, dust and fume extraction systems, ventilation, or related fields (highly desirable). • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of dust collection principles, air filtration technologies, ventilation design, and relevant safety regulations • Estimation Skills: Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate project costs based on technical specifications and site conditions. • Sales Acumen: A proven track record of successful sales experience and the ability to build strong client relationships. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely. • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address client needs effectively. • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Education: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, or a related field is highly desirable.
