The Opportunity Casella Family Brands is seeking a passionate and dynamic communications professional to join our team as a Communications Manager for a 10-month parental leave cover. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the communications team, driving corporate communications, brand PR, and internal communications across a diverse portfolio of iconic brands, including [yellow tail] wine, Peter Lehmann Wines, and Morris Whisky. Brand Communication Integration: Work closely with brand marketing teams to create integrated external communications that enhance brand presence. Content Creation: Develop a variety of communication materials, including media releases, messaging, Q&As, wine-tasting notes, website news stories, and advertorials. Internal Communication Support: Help develop internal communication materials, including company newsletters, intranet content, and other key internal communications initiatives. Press Office Management: Lead the management of the press office, ensuring our brands receive high-quality media coverage. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams such as marketing, digital, social, design, and cellar door teams to ensure consistent and effective communication. Relationship Building: Nurture and maintain exceptional relationships with media, industry partners, distributor partners, and a wide range of stakeholders across the business. Writing Expertise: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills across a range of formats. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED At least 5 years of experience in media relations or communications, with a proven track record in developing and executing strategic communication plans.
