About the Role As we continue to build our Canberra team, we’re looking for a Receptionist who values being part of a team and is excited to make an impact on the daily operations of our newly established office. As Receptionist, you'll support reception, facilities, and catering while ensuring professional client service and the efficient operation of the firm. You will be pivotal in creating a welcoming environment and maintaining the smooth operation of front desk and client areas. Key Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: Reception Management: opening and closing reception, manage incoming calls and email inbox, greet and direct clients and staff, readiness/presentation of the reception area and meeting rooms. Meeting Room Coordination: Manage bookings in our meeting room system, set up rooms prior to meetings, troubleshoot any AV issues. Mail and Document Handling: Receive incoming documents and parcels, handle outgoing documents and parcels for collection, and distribute inbound faxes. Client and Staff Support: Respond to queries from staff, transfer calls and relay messages, and assist clients with parking ticket validation. Administrative Duties: Maintain reception area and meeting rooms, ensure an adequate supply of stationery items and communal photocopier supplies Catering and Events: Order catering, print catering reports and follow up on outstanding invoices. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with office technology, including AV equipment and document management systems. Experience with meeting room management systems, preferably Condeco. Professional demeanour and appearance. Why BDO?
