This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading Job Title: Network Administrator | 6-Month Contract Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid - 2 days WFH) Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension) Salary: Market Rates About the Role: As a Network Administrator, you will support the operational requirements of clients technology infrastructure. You will play a key role in maintaining system operations, security, lifecycle management, and capacity planning for all network and communication infrastructure, including the IP network, fibre backbone, Wi-Fi, and telephony. You will also contribute to infrastructure and application architecture, proactively identify risks, and ensure best practices in network administration. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Provide technical support and work closely with suppliers to ensure uptime. Act as an escalation point for technical network issues within the IT team. Monitor and report on network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Conduct system maintenance in line with change management policies. Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge. Participate in IT refresh projects and ensure efficient service delivery. Key Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in ICT, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration. Strong experience with IP networks, fibre backbone, Wi-Fi, and telephony systems. Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Experience with network security principles and best practices.
