We are working with a leading construction and project management firm specializing in residential, commercial and civil construction. As they continue to grow, they seek a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join the team part-time. We are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator with a strong background in government contracts in the construction industry to assist with the administration and management of various construction and project management contracts. This flexible part-time position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of contract management, compliance, and the specific nuances of government contracting. Key Responsibilities: Review, draft, and administer government construction contracts. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contract specifications. Liaise with project managers and clients to address contract-related queries and issues. Assist in the preparation of contract change orders, amendments, and extensions. Maintain accurate records of contract documents and correspondence. Monitor project progress and ensure contracts are executed according to schedule and budget. Manage and track contract deadlines, milestones, and deliverables. Provide support for any contract disputes or claims as needed. Stay up-to-date with any changes in government contracting regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Contract Administrator, focusing on government contracts in the construction or project management industry. Strong understanding of government procurement processes, contracting procedures, and relevant regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Familiarity with contract management software is a plus. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
