The project sectors they focus on include: mixed use, multi-residential, education, health care, aged care, commercial. etc. The role: As an Administrator in a busy practice, you will need to be adaptable to changing priorities and needs. The position will support a varied group of Principals, Architects, Designers and other business operations staff, so the role will suit someone with excellent interpersonal skills, confidence and a positive attitude. Duties will include: Front of house activities, meeting and greeting clients and visitors Basic IT troubleshooting, ordering new hardware, managing IT infrastructure and liaising with IT providers for more complex issues Producing various documents in MS Word and Adobe Indesign skills in Indesign preferred Travel Coordination for staff Event Coordination – internal events, fundraisers, presentation sessions Maintain office databases Photocopying, filing Provide ad-hoc admin support to the wider business support team Skills and experience required: Previous Administration/Studio Coordinator/Office Manager experience Adobe InDesign experience is beneficial Strong MS Office skills and tech savvy for basic IT issues Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communicative skills Ability to organize and prioritize workload Strong collaboration skills and ability to liaise with staff at all levels Prior experience in Architecture/Design industry is advantageous.
