What You’ll Be Doing Contribute to the development of sophisticated software solutions for the funds management sector. Work across the full software development lifecycle, from system analysis to implementation and optimization. Participate in a major software upgrade, adding new features and improving system performance. Gain a unique understanding of stock valuation, equities trading, and portfolio structuring. Collaborate with experienced engineers and financial professionals to solve real-world industry challenges. Work in a centrally located CBD office with exposure to a thriving tech ecosystem. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a driven Software Engineer who: Has a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Possesses strong programming fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), REST APIs, web services, and database design. Current systems are using C# and .NET and willingness to switch from other OO languages such as Java, C++, Rust or similar will also be considered. Has a genuine interest in financial services, with some understanding of how ETFs, funds management, and stock evaluations work Is confident in presenting technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. Has full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency).
