We're on the lookout for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with solid Linux and infrastructure support experience to join a high-performing onsite IT team for a Tier 1 mining operation in Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the tools, solving real-world infrastructure issues, and contributing to the operational stability of a fast-paced mine site. What you will be responsible for: Providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for critical IT infrastructure and Linux environments onsite. Troubleshooting and resolving issues across network, server, and storage systems . Supporting hardware, connectivity, and platform availability in a dynamic, 24/7 operational setting. Collaborating with offsite teams and vendors to escalate and resolve more complex issues. Maintaining documentation and contributing to continuous improvement of support processes. What you will bring to the role: Proven experience in infrastructure support in a mining environment. Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and connectivity issues. Experience with common monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident response workflows.
