Full Stack Engineer (Mid level) — Barangaroo, Sydney

Job Description We’re on the lookout for a passionate, self-starting Software Engineer to join our dynamic and close-knit engineering team. In this role, you’ll: Develop & Build: Create products and features that help Australian investors track markets, identify opportunities, and make smarter investment decisions. Scale & Optimize: Enhance a platform serving over 1 million users, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience. Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our CTO and talented engineers to shape system architecture and technical direction. Problem-Solve: Tackle challenges in scaling, performance optimization, and complex integrations like building analytics dashboards, advanced search functions, and A/B testing frameworks. Own Your Work: Choose the best tools and technologies for the job, contribute to key technical decisions, and drive innovation in a fast-moving, agile team. What we're looking for: 3 years of experience as a software engineer in an agile environment. Experience in startups, financial media, or data-driven roles is a plus. Proficiency in JavaScript with experience in at least one major framework (Vue.js, React, or AngularJS). Vue.js and TypeScript experience is a bonus. Passion for investing & financial markets - you’ll be building products for investors, so an interest in this space is a plus. Autonomy & Initiative - you're a self-starter who enjoys the freedom to choose your tools and approaches while aligning with company goals.
