About the client Our client defends against global threats and advances our national interests through the provision of foreign signals intelligence, cyber security and offensive cyber operations. About the role - Security Systems Engineer and Analytics Specialist This role will play a critical part in liaising with business areas, scoping requirements, designing the technical solution, inserting them into the Protective Monitoring and S&I portal roadmaps, and delivering the technical functionality. Duties Execute systems engineering tasks in the design, development, deployment and sustainment of security capabilities. Develop complex analytics across large and varied datasets to achieve insights and answer security-based business requirements. Deliver technical visualisation of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers. Skills / Experience Proven experience using applications such as Atlassian, Splunk, Tableau or other data analytics platform. Experience with Linux systems and programming languages such as Groovy, Python and PowerShell. At least 5 years' experience in Defence and/or Intelligence, and Atlassian, Groovy, API frameworks, Tableau, NiFi, PostgreSQL.
