Position details Role Title: Manufacturing Engineer Working arrangement: On-site position, working across standard business hours Benefits: Excellent team and excellent company culture Significant career development opportunities Successful, well-funded private company On-site, ample parking available Manufacturing Engineer – Five roll refiner The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in the expansion of our client’s manufacturing facility expansion. The Successful Candidate will be responsible for enhancing process efficiencies so that yield is at its highest, waste is at its lowest, and overall operational performance is at its best. We require the skills of an experienced FMCG Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on experience with high performance five roll refiner equipment. Key responsibilities: Manage manufacturing projects from feasibility, financial assessment, development of PM plans and implementation Design, refine and implement mechanical systems and equipment for production requirements Material selection, equipment specifications, and systems integration Development of technical specifications for manufacturing processes Assessment of facility layouts and production workflow to identify areas of improvement across productivity and waste reduction Management of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting complex mechanical system issues The Successful candidate will possess: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related At least 5 years of experience within a food manufacturing environment – Chocolate manufacturing experience highly regarded Strong understanding and experience working within a GMP regulated environment Hands-on experience with five roll refiner manufacturing equipment Strong understanding of mechanical system design, automation, maintenance and troubleshooting Excellent mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills – Both written and verbal About the company Our client is a leading chocolate manufacturer based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
