The role is based in our Canberra office and is a unique opportunity to provide expertise in employing frameworks, tools, and practices that are essential for these environments. You will be responsible for: Designing, deploying, and managing secure software environments while ensuring compliance and mitigating development risks across all life cycle stages Defining and refining life cycle processes, integrating risk management, quality control, and security best practices. Driving efficiency and reliability through standardized methodologies, tools, and procedures Maximising automation across software life cycle activities, streamlining CI/CD pipelines, testing, monitoring, and deployment. To be successful you will be able to demonstrate: NV1 Security Clearance Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) methodologiesExperience defining, implementing, and optimizing software lifecycle frameworks, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong skills in automating lifecycle processes, including deployment pipelines, monitoring, and security enforcement What’s in it for you?
