An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic person to join our well-established and growing company. The role forms part of our Newcastle team. The successful applicant will become an integral part of our warehouse and customer service team. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role requires the applicant to have a strong work ethic along with excellent customer service skills. A good knowledge of Newcastle suburbs, and the successful applicant must have a current NSW drivers’ licence. This is a casual position for 5 days a week with the potential of becoming a Full Time role. The role involves the following duties: – • Picking orders, loading delivery vehicles, and delivering goods in a safe and timely manner • Manual loading and unloading of delivery vehicles • Checking deliveries both in and out to ensure orders are correct • Picking and packing orders when required • Excellent customer service skills including maintaining a friendly, tidy and professional appearance. • Maintaining accurate paperwork • Assisting in the dispatch area when required • Moving products and doing general duties in the warehouse when required To be eligible for this position you must be punctual, willing to learn, flexible with your day-to-day duties, and must have the following: – • Current NSW Driver’s Licence with a good clear record • Previous trade, automotive or industrial experience including sales, wholesale and or workshop operations experience • Knowledge and Experience in warehouse procedures • Previous experience as a delivery driver • Good communication and admin skills • The ability to work individually and as part of a team • Attention to detail • Neat, tidy and presentable Desirable but not essential:- • Forklift licence • WH&S Knowledge • First Aid Certified If this sounds like you, click apply now.
