Project Engineer — Fortitude Valley, Brisbane

We are seeking a Project Engineer responsible for project delivery of Concept’s innovative product range. Position Overview: We are in need of a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating our projects. You will coordinate technical queries between clients, project delivery, and design consultants, and ensure the successful execution of our projects. This position requires a strong understanding of project management, problem-based solutions development, design-led thinking, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Develop and review project planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within safety, time and cost parameters Manage site safety requirements Authorise project planning, programming and on-site completion schedules and liaise with Site Supervisors over completion dates for various stages of the project Oversee and schedule the activities of Site Superintendent and/or Site Supervisors and other operational and administrative staff to ensure a seamless and co-ordinated construction process is achieved Supplier quality inspections Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders and regulatory authorities in order to facilitate the continued delivery of the project’s outcomes Prepare clear, concise, comprehensive and accurate briefs, tenders and scopes for consultant services and a high standard of contract documentation for construction work Skills: Strong understanding of design principles and construction methodologies Strong problem-solving skills Excellent analytical skills Meticulous and thorough approach to work Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritise tasks Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management preferred Minimum 2-years experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager 2 – 3 years of experience in construction industry or similar roles What’s in it for you: Ongoing support and training Grow and develop with an experienced team Collaborative and friendly work environment Weekly team lunches Day off on your birthday If you want to be a part of our great team and have the skills and experience to support this position, we look forward to meeting you Please submit a cover letter and resume and answer the questions within the online application.
