We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic future educators who want to make a difference – and have fun doing it This is a volunteer trainee position designed to support you on your journey to becoming a qualified Swim Teacher. Training takes around 6 weeks, and the course costs $160. We’ll guide you through the process and help you build the skills you need to thrive in the role. Why join us? You’ll play a vital part in making our classes safe, supportive and enjoyable. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting experienced instructors with lessons across all age groups Learning and demonstrating swim techniques to students Helping ensure swimmer safety and pool supervision Supporting a clean and organised pool environment We’re looking for people who: Are confident swimmers (competitive or recreational experience welcome) Communicate well and enjoy working with people Love working with children and making a positive impact Are reliable, friendly, and eager to learn Minimum requirements: Able to commit to regular volunteer hours during your training (up to 10 hours a week including Saturday or Sunday) Willing to complete CPR and Working with Children Check (we’ll support you through this) Available to complete your swim teaching qualification during the training period ($160 cost) Sound like you?
