We operate across multiple divisions, offering business administration support, project management, labour hire, trade-specific expertise, and cleaning services across northern Australia. About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer to join our team on a casual basis. You will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance services to ensure buildings, gardens, and facilities are kept in a safe and optimal condition. This hands-on role will require you to perform repairs, general cleaning, and landscaping while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual agreements. Key Responsibilities – Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas (mowing, planting, watering, weeding, spraying). – Operate handheld power tools such as blowers, polishers, and pressure washers. – Ensure external walkways and emergency exits are clear of debris. – Assist with maintaining tools, equipment, and cleaning materials. – Follow workplace safety protocols and adhere to WHS regulations. – Support on-the-job training in equipment use and preventative maintenance. – Work across various locations within Ironbark Service NT’s service regions. What We’re Looking For – Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong work ethic. – Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively. – Australian Citizenship or full working rights. – Current unrestricted NT driver’s licence. – Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children card. – Willingness to undertake job-specific training. – Ability to work in various weather conditions and remain on your feet for extended periods.
