Join the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre Team in this customer facing front of house role supporting people living with type 1 diabetes and their families. Provide daily coordination of the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre Clinic and provide support to the Family Centre’s day-to-day operations and general administration as required. Key Responsibilities • Greeting clients: Welcome clients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate person or office • Scheduling appointments: Schedule appointments with health professionals and specialists • Managing client records: Maintain client records and ensure information is accurate and current • Answering phones: Answer and make phone calls, and provide information to clients and clinicians • Assisting clients: Help clients complete forms, verify insurance, and collect third-party claims • Providing administrative support: Perform clerical work, such as entering data and processing check-ins and check-outs • Attend to inbound face-to-face, phone, social media and email contact to the Family Centre • Be the friendly, knowledgeable face and positive connection point for clients of the Family Centre • Establish a profile in the Family Centre’s online communities and be a go-to representative of the Family Centre in our groups. • General administrative support when required. • General housekeeping duties • Maintenance bookings and liaison • Merchandising and product distribution • General filing and record-keeping support • Stationary/Office amenities ordering and management In your application please provide a CV and covering letter outlining your interest in the position and what you can bring to the role.
