Our client is a well-established agricultural merchandise business that has been serving the rural community in Toowoomba since 2003. They are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join their team As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for administering customer service operations, liaising with customers in a warm and professional manner. The role will involve supporting the day-to-day activities of customer service, both in-store and online, and requires you to report to the Customer Service Manager. Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (Dependent on Experience) Location: Toowoomba, QLD Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday) Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service via in-store interactions, email, phone, and online platforms. Manage the administration of customer service duties, including: Banking and cheque handling Sales entry from phone orders and emails Process sales orders from WooCommerce dispatch (StarshipIt) Warehouse requests for labels and packing slips End of month filing Daily filing, scanning, and good inward scanning EFTPOS reconciliation Office stationery & kitchenette supplies management Set up new clients and suppliers on the website and accounting software. General reception duties, including greeting customers and managing inquiries. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and general correspondence. Ensure familiarity with the background workings of the WooCommerce website. Required Experience & Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, and basic double-entry accounting. Agricultural background or a passion for the land is highly desirable. Experience with MYOB Accounting software is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to work unsupervised and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Experience in office administration and client record management.
