The key duties of the position include Are you interested in working within a team that supports the enterprise in providing employees with the skills, knowledge and expertise to perform their duties, adapt to change, and drive innovation to enable continuous learning and skill development throughout their careers? The Leadership Centre Learning and Development Services area is responsible for providing advice on, and implementing a range of learning and development initiatives across the enterprise from mandatory training and recruit training through to leadership development. The key capabilities and services of LCLDS includes: design, development and implementation of a range of leadership initiatives, including the Team Leader and Sergeants Development Program (TLSDP) and Executive Leadership Transition Program (ELTP); domestic and international leadership course nominations and development; a variety of diverse project work, including planning, execution, and delivery, to support organisational goals and priorities; enterprise-wide learning package development including; mandatory training, specialised training, online and immersive simulated training as well as the training continuum (from recruit training through to leadership development) creation of innovative online and immersive learning solutions to support training and development within work areas. The area is focused on strong stakeholder engagement, building connections and collaborating on a range of initiatives for the enterprise. You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below. What will you do? Under the direction of the senior team member, and in support of the Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in day-to-day administrative operations of the team. Overseeing and triaging team communications, ensuring efficient information flow and maintenance of team documentation and records; Assisting in the coordination of a variety learning initiatives and activities; Supporting the ongoing quality assurance and evaluation of the effectiveness of enterprise-wide learning initiatives; Assisting in projects and associated financial activities; Contributing to the development of instructional and governance materials such as policies, procedures and processes; Building and sustaining strong internal and external relationships through effective communication; Maintaining currency in work processes through ongoing professional development and learning opportunities outside the formal education process; Other tasks as required.
