The position reports to the Executive Officer to Manager Business Services and is responsible for liaison, administration, coordination and organisation in support of the Branch and the organisation. What will you do? The Team Member assists with the coordination and management of tasks on behalf of Manager Business Services, in support of AFP priorities. This work may include: Providing high level support to Manager Business Services Maintaining strong attention to detail and being able to demonstrate resilience and professionalism in a high-demand and challenging environment Maintaining a high level of customer service within a high-demand and challenging environment Performing a range of office management activities, including but not limited to; arranging travel, organising meetings, and acting as a liaison point for the wider management team. Preparing routine or moderately complex correspondence, minute taking, photocopying/scanning and filing, and coordinating of responses to ministerial and parliamentary requests via the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS). Responding to enquiries and providing advice to a range of high-level clients, including AFP members. Maintaining effective working relationships and promoting a positive, professional image of the AFP to internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring adherence to corporate AFP policies, processes and systems. Providing support to the Executive Officer as required. Identifying methods to streamline processes and systems to improve efficiency within the Executive.
