Job Description About the Role The Senior Systems Engineer is a specialist role within EOSSS, responsible for driving innovation and applying advanced engineering expertise to the design and development of innovative products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that EOSSS’ product development aligns with strategic goals, delivering high-performance solutions for EOSSS. Duties will include: Lead and conduct Systems Engineering reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices; Manage configuration control of systems to support program milestone reviews; Develop and execute verification and validation plans, ensuring system performance meets requirements; Drive and support change management across the full Systems Engineering lifecycle; Assist in the design, prototyping, and production of complex systems, working closely with specialists across various engineering disciplines; Apply strategic thinking to emerging, new, and existing technologies, driving innovation in EOSSS; Oversee and interpret the design and execution of user acceptance testing and other verification activities. Desired Skills and Experience About You We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a natural problem solver, and brings a forward-thinking approach to complex challenges. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any specialty, excluding civil); Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role; Strong understanding of engineering principles and hands-on experience across the engineering lifecycle. It is desirable but not essential if you also have any of the following: Post Graduate qualifications in Systems Engineering; Experience with multi-disciplinary teams in a structured product development or project engineering environment; Experience in the Space sector.
